Apply now Job no: 502518Work type: Casual / Temp, Casual contract, Part time, Part time contractLocation: Gold CoastCategories: Food & Beverage / KitchenSeasonal Food & Beverage Attendant$25.03 per hour | Part Time$31.28 per hour | CasualFixed Term until November 2025 with opportunities for ongoing workSea World, Main Beach, Gold CoastThe Opportunity:We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join the Food and Beverage team at one of the Gold Coasts favorite tourist attractions Sea World.This fast-paced role requires applicants to have full availability to work a rotating roster with shifts covering weekends, holidays, and nights as required.Successful candidates will be required to work in a variety of food and beverage outlets around the park, including fast-food outlets, coffee shops, bars, ice cream parlors, or outdoors on our mobile carts around the park.The role is initially a seasonal position until November 2025 with opportunities for contract extensions through until February 2026 or ongoing positions.All successful applicants MUST have a valid Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Statement of Attainment from a Nationally Recognized Training Organization prior to commencement.Your day to day: Work effectively within a team environment or independently as required. Provide outstanding customer service to a variety of guests. Prepare and serve a range of food and beverage items whilst maintaining a high level of food safety, quality and presentation. Follow workplace hygiene procedures and health and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Operate point of sale system with accurate cash handling and stock control.What youll bring: A valid Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is essential! Full availability to work alternating shifts from 7am until 7pm any day of the week including school holidays and public holidays. Ability to work night shifts as required. A fun and positive working attitude. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional guest service focus and communication skills. Excellent grooming standards and a commitment to follow food and beverage personal presentation requirements (no jewellery, fake nails or nail polish). Willingness to work in a variety of food outlets including bars, kitchens and outdoors on our mobile carts. Previous experience in hospitality, retail or customer service and a comprehensive knowledge of cash handling will be highly regarded.Advertised: 16 May 2025 E.
