This is a great opportunity if you are seeking to expand your career.Roster Available: 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth, WARole Located: Kalgoorlie, WAEarning Potential: Up to $175k per annum plus superannuation paid on all hours workedFull-time employment including leave for all of life''s planned (annual) and unplanned (personal leave) events.About the role:Day-to-day involvement in hands-on fitting of tyres and use of equipment such as hydraulic lifts and jacks.Ability to diagnose issues including tyre cracks, nails, and stones and ensuring each wheel is correctly balanced.Capability to repair tyres on LV and HV assets.Demonstrable experience in rim tracking and managing the certification program to ensure all work meets the required standard.Capability to complete required safety duties such as job inspections, task planning, JHAs, take 5s, and others as required.What we are looking for:Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology - must have completed earthmoving (AURKTJ) or heavy vehicle (AURHTJ) units of competencyDemonstrable experience on Caterpillar, Komatsu & Hitachi Mining Equipment.Previous experience working in the surface mining industry.Valid HR Manual Driver''s Licence.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.What SMS can offer:A work environment where safety is always the priorityFree confidential EAP and wellness services available to all SMS Mining Services employees.About Us:We are SMS Mining Services, a privately owned West Australian mining contractor founded in 2000.
