Our heritage of research, collaboration, and strategic innovation has positioned our Positive Nutrition brands for sustainable growth and financial success.The OpportunityAs an experienced Production Technician with knowledge of the operation, you may be required to assist Mechanical Engineers with the installation start-ups of mechanical equipment and plant, including after major servicing.Production Technicians will need to be able to collect and analyse data to continuously improve in how the operation sets up, monitors, adjusts, operates and troubleshoots Filling and Production Equipment to achieve planned volumes, including.Operation of Tetra Pak equipment, for either processing or UHT packagingEnsuring that product quality is maintained by following SOPs and ensuring cleaning and sanitation schedules are metAssembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls, and hydraulic power systemsFault finding and troubleshooting on equipment when requiredEnsure products and batch changes are correctly managed and authorisedEnsure that production is undertaken following all quality guidelines and regulationsManage product sampling requirementsMaintain, run and co-ordinate weekly care program including organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant within your area of operationDaily care and day to day routine up-keep of equipment.What youll bringSignificant experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum 4 years processing experience in a high-speed processing and packaging environmentQualification in technical maintenance of Food Processing or Competitive Manufacturing preferredComprehensive knowledge of Lean ManufacturingKnowledge of area equipment, Tetra-Pak or similar high-speed processing and automated processing equipmentAbility to motivate and engage team members to meet the team objectivesSound communication skillsAbility to influence and work with a diverse range of people effectivelyAbility to mentor and develop team leaders/membersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsSound time management and prioritisation skillsAbility to make effective decisions in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and safety standards*Note salary range - $80,000 - $92,000 + superWhy Noumi?Each new day at Noumi brings exciting opportunities for growth and impact.
