As a Food Services Assistant your focus will be to deliver catering needs that meet nutritional and hydration needs, special requirements and preferences of our residents.Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:Perform basic food preparation tasks and cooking basic meals.Prepare, present and serve / deliver food and refreshments, ensuring awareness of special needs for modified dietsPlate and present food in an appealing manner and to a high-quality visual standard according to individual requirementsRequirementsFood Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion of a Food Safety CertificatePrevious experience working in a food services environment and/or at an aged care facilityPatience; common sense and a strong ethos of client serviceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work within a team and to work with minimum supervisionA variety of shifts & days are currently available.About usHere at VMCH our services are as diverse as the people we support.
