4 Year apprenticeship on the job including 3 years at TAFEAbout the Role: Parks and Gardens apprentices maintain and care for all aspects of garden and lawn maintenance, including residential, local parks, recreational areas, and commercial premises.No experience requiredAll training is completed on the job, including 1 day per week at TAFETAFE is a paid workday with no fees!Driver Licence (not Ls) and own transport are highly preferredDuties: Pruning, planting, hedging, mowing, identifying plants, using fertilisers and chemicals, maintaining irrigation systems, identifying pests and diseases, shaping branches, using various machinery, and advising on general tree and garden care.Locations:Western Sydney: A large landscaping organisation requires an apprentice to assist with the maintenance of recent commercial projects, starting at Tallawong Metro Station and maintaining the grounds in that region.Australian Training Company is a Group Training Organisation employing apprentices and trainees, then placing them with host employers.
