Trainer - Civil Construction Design (Diploma and Advanced Diploma)Join to apply for the Trainer - Civil Construction Design (Diploma and Advanced Diploma) role at Acknowledge EducationAbout The RoleOur Civil Construction department offers Diploma and Advanced Diploma as vocational courses across our campuses in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. There is a vacancy in our Perth campus for a part-time/full-time trainer and assessor in civil construction programs (VET courses) to carry out training and assessment duties.You will be responsible for the development, improvement, and delivery of civil construction units (for both Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs), ensuring these meet the VET Quality and the Higher Education Standards Frameworks.Key Responsibilities IncludeDeliver high-quality training: Provide engaging and effective instruction based on curriculum requirements and ensure high standards of teaching.Maintain accurate records: Record student attendance and progress accurately, following College policies and procedures.Ensure effective learning: Monitor classroom learning outcomes, provide feedback, and support students educational development.Professional development: Stay current with industry standards and maintain up-to-date qualifications, actively participating in professional development opportunities.Compliance and reporting: Adhere to the Code of Conduct, report incidents, manage OH&S matters, and contribute to meetings and other relevant activities.About YouCertificate IV in Training and AssessmentBachelor in civil/construction field as a minimum qualificationAt least 2 years of experience in the civil construction industryUnderstanding and supportive of students diverse needs and learning pacesExperience working with international students in vocational education and training delivery and assessmentProficient in learning management systems (Moodle) and Microsoft Office applicationsPossession of or willingness to obtain a WWCC (costs reimbursed)Why work with usOpportunities for growth within the organization$1,500 professional development allowanceSupportive, student-centric team of professionalsFlexibility to work from home during non-teaching hours (for academic staff)Part of a fast-growing, agile organizationPart of UP Education group a leading education provider: the Acknowledge Education Team: Igniting Potential, Fostering Growth!Acknowledge Education is a leading training provider with campuses across Australia, offering courses in health, community services, social work, business, civil construction, and hospitality.
