From a humble beginning in McLaren Vale, weve expanded to 12 stores across South Australia and New South Wales, and were looking for talented Sushi Chefs to join our team in Adelaide!The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing a variety of sushi dishes according to traditional and modern recipes. Key tasks include selecting fresh ingredients, preparing sushi rice, assembling rolls, and presenting dishes attractively. The Sushi Chef will also maintain hygiene standards, manage inventory, and interact with customers to ensure an excellent dining experience.About the Roll- Crafting and preparing a variety of sushi dishes with precision and care.- Ensuring food quality, presentation, and adherence to food safety standards.- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.- Collaborating with team members to deliver outstanding customer service.What Were Looking For:- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role.- Comprehensive knowledge of sushi types, preparation techniques, and knife skills.- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues.Why Join Us?At Emperor Sushi, we value our team members and offer a supportive, dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
