The Resident Wellbeing Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Lifestyle Coordinator and works closely with Volunteers, Therapy and Care Staff to assist with person-centered holistic care.We have a variety of shifts available to suit your lifestyle and the flexibility of casual work across a 14-day roster. Let us know your availability that works with your lifestyle.BenefitsMore take-home pay with competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing, plus an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annumBetter work-life balance with consistent fortnightly rosters patterns for permanent positions - no rotating rosters!Confidential access to our Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral Program - refer a friend and be rewarded.Free onsite parkingRequirements For The RoleRelevant qualifications in Leisure and Lifestyle or Aged Care.At least 1 years of experience in a similar position.Experience with dementia care, with knowledge of memory support programsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and families.A compassionate approach to managing and supporting elderly residents and individuals with disabilities.Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate to computer skillsOther RequirementsA current, full drivers licence for the State of Victoria which is appropriate for the type of vehicle being driven, and comply with any restrictions on their licence (e.g. wearing glasses)It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.All aged care workers are encouraged to receive Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and Flu-Vaccine.
