If youre passionate about great coffee, love working with people, and thrive in a self-managed environment we want to hear from you!Monday to Friday | 7:15am 3:15pmFull-time role | 38 hrs/weekTerm-time schedule with optional work during holidaysNo nights or weekendsPerfect for parents, school holidays offOptional Aged Care Work During School HolidaysJob DescriptionThe Role:Cater Care seeks to appoint a Canteen Supervisor/Barista with leadership experience at our education site in Waverley.Roster:Monday to Friday 7:15am to 3:15pm38hrsWhat This Role Involves:Management of canteen along cooking/food preparation experienceMaking and serving coffeeCooking a variety of healthy & nutritious freshly made snacks and drinksTaking orders, customer service and cash register operationsMonitoring and promoting kitchen hygiene & food safety practicesMonitoring food costs, ordering and stock replenishmentManaging and liaising with volunteersCleaning of kitchen areas and dish-washingDesired Skills and ExperienceWhat We Require From You:Food Safety Certification (highly desirable)Previous experience managing or supervising a school canteen or similar environmentAbility to work under high pressure situations and catering in large volumesStrong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with students, parents and teachersWhy Work For Us:We have a unique culture that can only be attributed to the people that work for us.
