Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Security Assistant Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, just 20 minutes from Uluru, one of Australia''s most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Security Assistant Manager who, in conjunction with the Security Manager, will direct the security operations team during emergency responses. You will oversee security operations, manage a dynamic team of full-time Security Officers, serve as a role model, induct new employees, and provide constructive feedback during training. You will also support the Security Manager in responding to security issues, including investigations. To be considered for this role, you should have: Minimum Certificate II in Security with 5+ years experience in security operations in a leadership role Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC (Aviation Security Identity Card) Ability to obtain and hold Northern Territory Security Officer and Crowd Control licenses Ability to obtain and hold your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Valid Full Australian Drivers Licence Current First Aid Certificate with CPR certification (valid for at least 6 months) Key Duties Lead, in conjunction with the Security Manager, a productive and engaged security team. Support a community-focused security model by proactively engaging with local communities. Respond to security issues by assisting the Security Manager in investigations to ensure accurate and efficient outcomes. Assist in professional development and performance management of team members.
