With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hours drive from the CBD, Melbournes North is fastbecoming the place to be!Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Legal Assistant to join the Legal Services team.About Northern Health:Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbournes rapidly growing outer north.Services are provided through our five main campuses:Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.About the Role:Providing direct support to the Chief Legal Officer, the Legal Assistant will work closely with Northern Healths Legal team including the Freedom of Information (FOI) and Privacy team. The position will ensure that high quality and timely legal services are delivered to Northern Health.To be successful in this role you will have:Experience in providing legal assistant or paralegal support in a legal office environmentDemonstrated ability to learn and apply organisational policy and legal requirementsAbility to manage several priority matters contemporaneouslyDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentialityNext Steps . .If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
