We offer opportunities to learn new skills in a highly specialised industry.If you have previous experience in the Civil construction industry, we want to hear from you!Machine Operator Excavator (Experienced Only)We are seeking experienced operators familiar with tight digs, live services, and safety-critical environments.Mandatory Requirements:Demonstrated experience as an Excavator Operator in civil projectsCurrent Australian Drivers LicenceWhite Card (Construction Induction)VOC and RII for ExcavatorAbility to work independently and under supervisionKey Responsibilities:Completing on-site safety documentation and Pre-StartsReading BYDA & Construction PlansExcavation around servicesWorking around live assets and mainsInstallation of pits and pipesOperating various plant equipment (experience in HDD operation is an advantage)Installing telecommunications pits and pipesEnsuring services are delivered safely and efficientlyGeneral equipment maintenance and cleaningHighly Regarded Skills:MR/HR Licence (or willingness to obtain one before start)Electrical SpottersAbility to work with technologyGood verbal communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude and proactive approachPunctuality and reliabilityHigh quality of workStrong problem-solving skills and teamworkReliable and dependable reputationBlackwood Trenching & Boring offers a supportive work environment, long-term career growth, and a close-knit team.
