There are opportunities to share your knowledge within the wider healthcare community and the team.If you are ready to contribute your experience, click APPLY NOW.Key ResponsibilitiesThe senior occupational therapist provides clinical governance, leadership, and expertise within paediatric occupational therapy services, ensuring safe, timely, compassionate, and high-quality person-centered care. This includes supporting the implementation of the Brighter Beginnings preschool health and development screening, providing assessment, early intervention, capacity building, and direct care pathways for children in SWSLHD. The role also involves evaluating initiatives, developing educational and training programs, and supervising Level 1/2 occupational therapists, allied health assistants, and students.Workplace EnvironmentBased within SWSLHD Primary & Community Health, which offers a comprehensive range of community-based services aimed at improving health and wellbeing across South Western Sydney. The team supports diverse populations, including children, young people, older adults, and at-risk communities, with a focus on prevention, early intervention, assessment, treatment, health maintenance, and ongoing care.
