The role follows an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, with options to live locally or stay in our village for the roster period.The RoleAs a Maintenance Technician, you will monitor and maintain equipment in a large, fixed plant process mining environment to ensure safe achievement of milling production targets. All maintenance personnel are expected to assist across all areas of the processing plant, including:Conveyor, crushers, and screensFeeders and chutesHigh pressure grinding rollsShutdown supervisionPreventive maintenance inspectionsOperation of plant equipment (EWP, forklift, overhead crane, dogging, rigging, Hiab)Qualifications and SkillsAustralian recognized Trade Certificate as a Mechanical FitterExperience in a large, fixed plant environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeTeamwork abilityPC skills, exposure to CMMS (SAP preferred)Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in miningHigh Risk Licenses: forklift, elevated work platform, dogging/rigging (preferred)Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights (preferred)Current ''C'' class manual driver''s licenseApplications close June 1, 2025.
