City employees enjoy a work environment that encourages professional development and promotes a healthy work-life balance.About this positionJoin the City of Gosnells as a Seniors Program Assistant and help deliver engaging programs and events for our 55+ community.The dedicated Seniors Services team provides a range of tailored programs and events that support senior health, active aging and social connection. As a Seniors Program Assistant, you will play a key part in delivering these programs to the City of Gosnells Seniors 55+ community.If you are eager to contribute to programs that are inclusive, engaging and meaningful for older adults, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact.In this role, you willAssist with room and event set-upFacilitate group activities and support program deliveryGather feedback and assist with program evaluationCarry out administrative tasks related to the rolePlease note: This is not a respite or aged care position and does not involve direct personal care to patrons.What we are looking forTo be successful you must be able to demonstrate:Experience assisting in a range of community programs, particularly those targeted to seniors over 55 yearsAbility to work effectively as a team memberAbility to work flexible hours which may include evenings and weekendsStrong initiative and a positive attitudeDrivers'' licenceNational Police Clearance (less than three months old).
