Whether it is a medical device, a radioactive cancer therapy, the engine of an airplane, a high-speed network router, a hard drive encrypted with a summer movie release, or a liver donated for transplant, the most time-sensitive shipments in the world are entrusted to MNX.Job Overview:The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the dispatch of drivers, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining communication with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders.Responsibilities:Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of drivers for timely pickups and deliveries.Assess workload and allocate resources to maximize fleet utilization.Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient routing and adherence to delivery schedules.Monitor and track delivery progress and address any issues or delays.Liaise with clients to provide updates on delivery status and address concerns.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to best practices.Ensure all deliveries and pickups are done efficiently, and specific customer requests are communicated to the transport team.Maintain and monitor data management systems to organize fleets according to schedules and requests.Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests through scheduling and planning.Oversee vehicle maintenance and ad-hoc repair work.Ensure fleet operations comply with local and state regulations.Attend to driver queries.Ensure all freight returned to MNX is handed over to the correct departments with POD.Ensure all drivers complete GPS tagging at the start and end of each shift.Collaborate with Customer Account Managers and Customer Service staff to meet service standards.Improve operational and logistical service standards and maintain quality of service.Track and trace trucks, report delays and customs issues.Troubleshoot problematic deliveries such as damaged items or closed sites.Skills and Experience:Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.Ability to work from complex instructions and procedures.Ability to coordinate work in a team environment with limited supervision.Responsibility for the quality of own work.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.This description is not exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, or conditions associated with the position.
