The successful candidate will be employed for 12 hours per fortnight by The Royal Children''s Hospital to conduct newborn hearing screening at maternity hospitals in Swan Hill and the surrounding region.Responsibilities Of The RoleCarrying out hearing screens on newborn babies following VIHSP protocols and proceduresCommunicating accurately and sensitively with parentsPreparing and maintaining both paper and electronic documentation, including navigation across a number of IT platformsKeeping accurate records of screen results including computer data entryRoleTo be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and professional demeanourHigh attention to detailExcellent organisational, time management and prioritising skillsComputer skills, including capacity to navigate a number of IT programsCapacity to achieve excellent newborn hearing screening competence during the in-person onsite training programIf you think you possess the right skills and experience, we encourage you to apply on our website now!The contact person for the position is Leonie Chivers, Area Manager-Loddon Mallee on 0431 655 656 (during business hours).To view Position Description, please click HEREWhy work at the RCH?RCH enjoys high employee engagement and is committed to staff safety and a positive culture through enactment of our Compact.
