Holiday Inn will provide a modern, friendly, and value-driven stay, showcasing the best of Bourke Street Mall.As Duty Manager, you will be central to the guest experience, ensuring smooth hotel operations with a strong presence in the Front Office. Youll oversee daily activities across departments, respond confidently to guest needs, and manage crises effectively. Your leadership will foster service excellence, team collaboration, and high standards, making every guest feel welcomed and valued.Your day-to-day responsibilities include:Developing and implementing SOPs for the front office, including check-in/check-out, room allocation, guest inquiries, and reservations.Leading the front office team to deliver exceptional service, professionalism, and personal recognition.Greeting guests upon arrival, engaging with them, and responding to complaints or feedback to enhance satisfaction.Conducting routine inspections of hotel grounds and addressing deficiencies promptly.Supporting other departments as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.Training and equipping colleagues to perform their duties effectively.Assisting with induction, onboarding, training, and development of staff as part of performance management.Managing all hotel operations during your shift.Responding to emergency situations as the first responder.What we need from you:At least three years of guest service or hotel experience, including one year in a management role.Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage priorities.Strong problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities for memorable guest experiences.Current Responsible Service of Alcohol, First Aid, and CPR certifications, with renewal in line with industry standards.Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.What you can expect from us:Joining this exciting hotel opening offers a unique career opportunity, competitive salary, and benefits such as room discounts and comprehensive training.
