Join to apply for the Civil Leading Hand role at Delivering 4 Customers (D4C)Continue with Google Continue with Google2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Civil Leading Hand role at Delivering 4 Customers (D4C)Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services across the Southern Region of Sydney.D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP.Primary PurposeWe are looking for an all-rounder Civil Leading Hand to join our crews and work across our projects, including upgrading and upsizing of water and wastewater projects across the southern Sydney region.Tasks you will be involved with, but not limited to; formwork for various civil projects across pipelines, drainage, water, sewer, and stormwater, including pump stations/pipe chambers, concrete plinths, kerb and gutter for footpaths, basic concreting and steel fixing. You will be responsible for quality and safety amongst the teams.Desired ExperiencePrevious experience working on water infrastructure projectsPrevious experience leading crewsExperience in Machines (Excavator, Skid Steer)Experience with panel formwork, in situ and precast systemsExperience concreting;interpretingplans,pouring, and screedingThe ability to workunder pressure and in emergency situations and have strong problem- solving skills.Sound interpersonal skills and strong communications skills allowing you to interact with people clearly and effectively within water, external organisations, and the general public.Skills & QualificationsWhite CardTrade Certification, Civil Construction/Concreter/Form worker/Plant TicketsMR/HR LicenceConfined spaceWorking at heightsThe following will be highly regardedHRTruck licenceFirst AidDogman ticketExcavator Statement of AttainmentFavourable permanent hourly rates based on experience, including overtime, leave entitlements and benefits.
