Join to apply for the Mechanical Fitter role at Weir Minerals Location: Artarmon, NSW Type: Full-time, Onsite Shifts Available: 6:00am to 2:00pm, 2:00pm to 10:00pm, and 10:00pm to 6:00am Key Responsibilities: Maintain, repair, and install mechanical equipment and machinery. Ensure the safety and optimal performance of all mechanical systems. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency. Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Install, test, and inspect machinery and equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies, including Zero Harm initiatives. Qualifications: Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Cert III or higher). Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter in heavy industrial, manufacturing, or mining environments. Experience with fault finding and repairing foundry and CNC machinery is desirable. Confined Space and Work at Heights qualifications. Effective communication skills and report writing ability. Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Why Join Weir?
