Were changing at a rapid rate, giving you challenging work that youll be proud of.Join the teamAs a Buying Assistant working for Kmart, you will support our Buyers in sourcing the best possible products that bring meaningful moments into our customer''s livesWhat youll be doingSupport the department by ensuring all data entry information is accurate, up to date and maintainedCreate briefs, raise orders and maintain Buying PlanManage the product registration process after sign off - from keycode creation to sampling and packaging coordinationLiaise with and supporting a local supply base as well as working day-to-day with our overseas sourcing teamParticipate in trade meetings, provide samples where required by Buyer to demonstrate learns/actionsProvide market insights by assessing the competitive set on a regular basis and feedback to the teamManage all marketing and coordination of samples for all advertising, including onlineSupport with day-to-day admin related tasksTo be successful in this role youll have:Strong attention to detailExcellent time management and organisational skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage and interpret dataEffective numerical, critical thinking and analytical skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentPrevious experience within a Buying Assistant role will be very highly regardedWe''re looking for a driven, efficient and enthusiastic individual who will bring a curious mind-set and a passion for all things retail and general merchandise!
