The Landside Coordinator is responsible to coordinate all aspects of Landside Operations for the Terminal. To be effective in this role it is critical to develop and maintain effective relationships with our valued industry partners. Your role is to provide excellent customer service and support for landside and quayside stakeholders.This role works alternating weeks of 6:00am 2.30pm and 9.30am 6.00pm, Monday Friday, to provide support across the span of the day.Key AccountabilitiesCustomer ServiceFirst point of contact for all Landside enquiriesDevelop and maintain effective relationships with all customers and stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to increase customer satisfactionOperational Resourcing & PlanningFacilitate the Receival & Delivery of all containers for the terminal; including Fulls & EmptiesCalculate required slot release numbers and import/export ratioReview & approve stack run & bulk run requestsPlan the daily resource requirement considering available labour and machinery to balance operational goals with customer demandIdentify improvement opportunities for productivity gains & cost reductionAdministration of financial penalties including recommendations where adjustments may be warrantedLiaise with CCT claims regarding truck damage investigationsReporting & Data EntryDevelop & maintain a detailed customer database including company profile, structure, contact details and historyReview compliance of all customers regarding Company / Site policies and the Carrier Access AgreementQualifications, Skills and ExperienceMinimum 2 years previous experience in transport/rail/maritime/marine/stevedoring operationsExperience using 1-Stop systemEffective customer service, oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organising skillsIntermediate ability with Microsoft Word and ExcelHigh attention to detail and ability to rectify errors efficientlyDemonstrated ability to plan and manage workloads, work autonomously or as a member of a team so that timely and effective results are achievedWorking knowledge of the appropriate regulatory requirements and bodiesDP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
