Youll thrive with a team around you of like-minded people, whilst you get your teeth stuck into diverse work.About the role:The Clinical Development and Support Coach is responsible for training, supporting and mentoring our Trainee Dental Assistants at the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne ensuring they deliver clinical service excellence to patients. The role assists the DA Coaches, Senior DAs and Team Leaders in providing support and assistance to a range of specific development activities within the team.Your responsibilities will include:Shadow and provide immediate one on one feedback and coaching TraineesSupport in the day-to-day clinical supervision and coaching of trainees ensuring completion of their training requirements.Provide regular feedback to Senior Dental Assistants on the progress of new dental assistants within their teamsProvide the Dental Assistant Team Leader with input on key developmental areas of staff in the team to support the continuing learning and development interventions for the teamActively engaging in operational activities including meetings, managing complaints and accreditation requirementsRostering of TraineesFor Full Details please click here for the position description.About you:Certificate III in Dental AssistingCertificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to complete within 12 months of appointment to the position)At least 3-5 years experience as a dental assistantStrong knowledge of patient care processes and techniques within an oral health environmentStrong knowledge of safety and compliance guidelines within a clinical settingExperience in coaching and managing the performance of trainees in a clinical environment(preferable)Whats in it for you?Its the people who make the difference at DHSV!
