As our People and Culture Advisor, youll help bring our core values to life supporting leaders, empowering employees, and ensuring our culture continues to evolve with innovation and commitment.This is a role for someone whos ready to roll up their sleeves and make things happen whether its fine-tuning systems, coordinating safety initiatives, or improving how we attract, engage, and retain exceptional people.What youll be doing:Drive recruitment and development:From writing job ads and screening candidates to issuing contracts and facilitating onboarding, youll manage end-to-end recruitment and support ongoing people development initiativesgrow a workforce aligned with our values of passion, quality, and commitment.Be a trusted advisor to leaders:Support and influence managers on all people-related matters from team structure and workforce planning to employee engagement, organisational changeand culture-building initiatives that foster collaboration and shared success.Support safety and wellbeing initiatives:Implement practical, people-focused safety and training programs that are nationally consistent, forward-thinking, and reflect our values of commitment,innovation and quality.Manage remuneration and benefits:Coordinate salary reviews and benefit programs,support policy development, and provide insights on employment conditions ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with our culture.Keep our systems sharp and compliant:Own the administration of our HR system, maintain accurate records, manage new starter paperwork and deliver timely people-related reports all with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.Contribute to strategic P&C initiatives:Support EEO programs, engage with community and environmental projects, and and seek opportunities to elevate our people practices and create lasting impact.What youll bring:Experience in a People and Culture or HR Advisor generalist roleStrong knowledge of HR practices, legislation, and employment standardsConfident communicator and influencer with the ability to engage with people at all levelsOrganised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing both strategy and adminA genuine passion for culture, safety, people development and continuous improvementExperience with HRIS platforms and strong reporting capabilityA collaborative and pragmatic approach you know how to get things doneItd be great if you also have:Experience supporting businesses across multiple industrial awardsFamiliarity with manufacturing or technical environmentsA flair for recognising and celebrating people achievementsAvailability to start in the first week of July, where possibleDesired Skills and ExperienceAt HMPS Propac, Australias leading machine manufacturers, we are passionate about delivering innovative end-of-line packaging automation.
