Students commute from a number of family communities within 20 kms of Halls Creek, Koongie Park Station (20kms) and Lamboo Station (40kms).Find out more about our school by visiting Schools Online .The RoleAs a Program Coordinator: Students at Educational Risk, you will ideally work collaboratively with the Principal and members of the administrative team to provide educational leadership within the school and the community. You will ideally develop and promote the school''s vision for academic success and encourage school staff and community members to share ownership of the school''s vision and goals.A key function to the role of Students at Educational Risk coordinator is to lead the Student Services Team (SST) in delivering support to students, programs and planned strategies and to engage and support every student. The SST strives to make school life engaging, meaningful and relevant and to foster effective relationships between both staff and students.The role will cover the following responsibilities:Monitoring attendance, behaviour and other aspects of student engagement and processes that support this work.Supporting students at risk and developing plans for improvement.Leading supportive programs that focus on inclusive engagement and skill development.Leading the SST in both supporting students and staff and liaising directly with Administration and key stakeholders.Consulting with staff in developing Individual documented plans.Providing training and development around positive mental health, wellbeing and other key areas as defined by the student body.You will facilitate workforce effectiveness and provide a role model for self-development to improve professional performance. Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year.
