This full-time role will be crucial in supporting the Finance team by ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of financial information. Key responsibilities include assisting with various finance and accounting tasks such as accounts reconciliation, monthly reporting, and variance analysis.This position offers the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of financial statements and gain valuable insights into business operations. You will contribute to financial analysis and make a real impact on the business.What you''ll be doing:Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsSupport the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and variance analysisAssist with fixed assets such as CAPEX process, maintain the registerProcess payroll-related journals, prepare for payroll tax calculation and complianceContribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and management reportsReconcile intercompany transactions and reportsAssist with BAS, FBT, and Audit (external and internal)Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and adviceSupport the implementation of new accounting systems and processesUndertake ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as requiredWhat we''re looking for:Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance2-3 years of experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Junior Accountant roleStrong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reportingProficient in Excel (Formula, Vlookup, and Pivot table)Excellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat we offer:At Schrder Australia, we are committed to supporting our employees'' professional growth and personal well-being.
