Youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy mining equipment in an autonomous, site-based role.This position suits individuals who take pride in their technical expertise, enjoy the challenge of diagnostics and breakdowns, and want to take full ownership of equipment reliability on site.Key Responsibilities:Perform inspections, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy mobile equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Epiroc machinery.Conduct maintenance and fault-finding on haul trucks, loaders, dozers, excavators, and shovels.Deliver breakdown response and preventative maintenance both in field service and workshop environments.Maintain detailed records including service logs, pre-starts, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.Work collaboratively with site-based teams to schedule work and minimise equipment downtime.Our Ideal Candidates:Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic Australian/NZ recognised.Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in heavy mobile plant maintenance, ideally within open cut mining.Proven diagnostic and problem-solving abilities across multiple OEMs Hitachi, Komatsu, CAT, and Epiroc preferred.Strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Manual drivers licence (current).Able to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, and provide a valid National Police Clearance.Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.To Apply:If this is a position you could see yourself in please click APPLY, or get in touch with Sam from CELOTTI WORKFORCE on 0483 917 887, or send your resume to sam.miller@celotti.com.au.
