Bring your technical skills and experience as a tradesman to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.Melbourne-based global organization4 days on, 4 days off shifts - 5 weeks (190 hours) of annual leaveGreat exposure to the Aviation IndustryCompetitive salary - from $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experienceAs an Automotive Technician at TCR, you will:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain heavy vehicles, utilizing technical skills and tradesman experience to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.Report daily to the Shift Supervisor, but will ultimately be under the management of the State Service Manager.Conduct preventive servicing, data collection, as well as repair and maintenance tasks that meet trade standards.Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.Utilize a wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment as an opportunity to bring your knowledge and skills to the role.Work with multiple specialized GSE equipment types.Enjoy 5 weeks of annual leave plus 2 additional ''Health and Happiness'' leave days.Have your uniforms provided and laundered, a competitive salary, and excellent mentorship.To be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience:Own your tools.Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.Hold a current and valid Driver''s License.A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.Experience working within procedural guidelines.Good communication skills and proactiveness.A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as a team player.
