Ensure soil samples cool room is kept up to date and orderly. Ensure hold samples cool room is kept up to date and orderly. Ensure soil samples long term storage is kept up to date and orderly. Disposal of Water Samples. Disposal of Soil Samples. Disposal of Biosecurity Samples, under supervision.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will obtain the following: Engineering or Science qualifications and/or university masters level qualifications, will be an advantage. Good knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. General knowledge about systems, IT architecture and production control, will be an advantage. Strong numeracy and financial skills. General preference and comfort in technical environments. Ability to build and structure business plans, submissions and initiatives. Desire to continually learn and improve. An entrepreneurial spirit, with an eagerness to take the next step. Ability to be a hands-on hard worker and a doer with a common sense approach. Strategic thinking mindset. Naturally strong abstract reasoning skills. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to structure thoughts deliberately, logically and directly.
