Position: Administration Trainee Duration: 12-month full-time position (Monday to Friday) Monthly RDO (Rostered Day Off) Wages: National Trainee Award wages The Administration Trainee will assist the Business Support Staff, Management, and Supervisory Staff in Waste & Environment by providing general administrative support and customer service while completing their traineeship in Administration. The role involves attending to telephone and counter inquiries, data entry tasks, customer service requests, managing purchase orders and invoices, updating reports, preparing agendas, taking minutes for meetings, inputting timesheet data for payroll, and carrying out other related tasks as required. Key Selection Criteria Interest or understanding of customer service, with strong organizational skills. Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and work as part of a team. Understanding of health and safety issues relevant to the work area.
