This role will work for Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV), who are the primary commercial vehicle distribution and servicing centres for Volvo Trucks and Buses, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks at Newcastle.What You Will DoWere looking for an energetic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Newcastle dealership. Youll be the crucial link between our workshop and customers, ensuring smooth scheduling, clear communication, and high-quality service delivery.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Schedule and organise service appointments and workshop jobsManage service-related customer enquiries professionally and promptlyOpen, close and manage repair orders (ROs)Assist with customer invoicing, purchase orders and internal/warranty billingLiaise with subcontractors and process external repair documentationSupport payroll and workshop reconciliation tasks where requiredMaintain and update the planner and ensure RO completion is accurateProvide status updates to customers on repair jobs and manage variance communicationConduct road tests and ensure vehicle presentation standards are metGuide and support apprentices and technicians on technical service standardsCollaborate closely with the Service Manager and team for day-to-day operationsHandle after-hours enquiries and relief counter duties as requiredWho are you?At Volvo Group, We Feel That Your Behaviours And Characteristics Are Just As Important As Your Technical Skills!
