This role is crucial in supporting operations on the Alcoa project, ensuring client expectations and project milestones are met efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with project management and site teams to execute project tasks effectivelyAssist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and machineryConduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure safety and quality standards are metPerform heat exchanger repairs and overhaulsManage basic pipefitting and flange tasksParticipate in safety audits and risk assessmentsCommunicate proactively with stakeholders regarding project progress and issuesThis position is based on-site at Alcoa facilities, offering a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to contribute significantly to project outcomes.Requirements:The ideal candidate will possess:Relevant trade qualification or experience in a mechanical or technical disciplineExperience in mining or heavy industrial sectors preferredStrong understanding of safety regulations and practicesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a teamProficiency with technical tools and equipment related to the projectCurrent certifications such as First Aid, Working at Heights, and Confined Space Entry (valid within 2 years) are advantageousKnowledge of heat exchanger servicing and repairsDesirable: MSMSS00017 - Use High Pressure Water Jetting Equipment or MSMSS00018 - Operate a High-Pressure Water Jetting SystemDesirable: Basic Rigging, HR Truck License, Knowledge of bolting/unbolting and flange managementAs a key team member, you will contribute to our commitment to service excellence, safety, and environmental stewardship.Benefits:We seek candidates with a proven background in chemical-related tasks and a strong safety commitment.
