Boilermaker Welder - Hydraulics Department Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Boilermaker Welder will join our Hydraulics team on a full-time basis at our South Guildford workshop. This role involves ID welding Eye Bores on hydraulics, rods, and barrels, sub-arc welding of re-rods and re-tubes, and general welding to repair cracks on hydraulic cylinder castings, transport stand repairs, and more. The role is safety-focused and requires exceptional attention to detail. Department Overview The Hydraulics Department specializes in maintenance and repair of hydraulic components using advanced machining techniques. We prioritize safety, precision, and continuous improvement in a supportive, collaborative environment. Roster 8 days on, 6 days off, rotating days and nights, 12.5 hours per day (including meal breaks). Responsibilities ID welding Eye Bores on hydraulics, rods, and barrels. Performing sub-arc welding of re-rods and re-tubes. Repairing cracks on hydraulic cylinder castings. Transport stand repairs. Skills & Experience Trade qualification as Boilermaker/Welder. High Risk Work License - Dogging or willingness to obtain. Experience with hydraulic component repairs (desired). Experience in ID Welding and Sub-Arc Welding. Commitment to safety.
