Our award-winning Renewable Energy company is currently seeking applications to fill a CEC Accredited Electrical Technician role.The company provides cutting-edge commercial and industrial renewable energy solutions to a variety of Government and NGO clients across Queensland and Australia.We pride ourselves on our teams specialized in-house skillsets, experience, and overall delivery capabilities.We are now searching for experienced accredited on-grid Solar Designers/Installers who want to further their skills in the renewable energy industry. Positions are available for an immediate start in Cairns. The role will play an integral part of our delivery team and requires a focus on customer service and attention to detail.The RolePlanning, scheduling, coordinating auditing, inspecting, installing, and maintaining renewable energy systems, including Battery Energy Storage systems.Working in accordance with our quality guidelines (ISO standards for Quality, Environment, and Safety) and industry best practices.Performing maintenance and inspections in and around Cairns and Far North Queensland.Exhibiting excellent time management, strong attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of technical components and relevant industry standards.Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve exceptional outcomes.Essential AttributesCommitment to working safely.Conscientious, reliable, and dependable.Ability to work autonomously and solve problems independently.Well presented with a great work ethic and positive attitude.Willingness to undertake training.Willing to work away, including remote areas, generally for no longer than 2 weeks at a time.Reliable and punctual.Experience and QualificationsMinimum 4 years experience as a qualified electrical fitter mechanic.Clean Energy Council/SAA accredited - on-grid, hybrid battery, and off-grid design and installation accreditation (advantageous, but willing to obtain).Current Queensland Electrical Licence.Current Queensland Drivers License.CPR/LV Switchboard Rescue/First Aid (advantageous).Construction Card (White Card) (advantageous).Police Check.Blue Card (Working with Children) or ability to obtain.Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.A ''can-do'' attitude aligned with our culture and values.What We OfferCompetitive package of $40-$60 per hour, plus overtime and allowances, vehicle, IT equipment, and uniform (salary options may be available).Work with an award-winning, well-respected organization with a strong brand presence in Queensland and the Queensland State Government.Contribute to a team of experienced industry professionals within a rapidly growing industry.Great work environmentwork in a technology-forward field with a friendly, positive, and professional team.This role begins as casual with potential to become permanent as ongoing contracts are renewed.Full-time hours are MondayFriday, with overtime as required.If this sounds like the opportunity for you, apply now!
