Youll work closely with Buyers and Marketers to help track trends, manage orders, and analyse performance. This is a great role for someone passionate about products across different categories.DutiesConduct market research, analyse sales and category performance.Assist with product launches, promotions, markdowns, and seasonal strategies.Maintain accurate product, cost, and order data in buying systems.Liaise with suppliers and overseas agents, managing orders, shipments, and vendor relations.Collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams for consistent product representation.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate product flow with the warehouse.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (warehouse, buying, marketing) to ensure timely deliveries and product knowledge.Coordinate with logistics and operations to resolve delivery issues.Maintain accurate records and ensure timely updates to delivery schedules and supplier orders.Skills and experience1-2 years as a Retail Buyers Assistant, with prior experience in retail, wholesale sales, or customer service.Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experienced with computerised databases and reporting tools.Self-motivated, results-driven, and resilient with a strong sense of determination.Adaptable to changing priorities and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Effective team player who values collaboration and relationship-building.Passionate about specialty retail/wholesale.Are Media is committed to a diverse, respectful, collaborative & inclusive workplace.
