You will work with social housing tenants and communities to strengthen connections and empower tenants to become involved in their local community. You will lead the planning and facilitation of community engagement events, and support the operation of local tenant groups. Other activities you will support include tenant surveys, workshops, project planning, management of social media, reporting and other engagement activities.To succeed in this role, you are customer service focused and have exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for working with communities.This is a full time permanent role, based across our Bonnyrigg, Riverwood and Liverpool office sites.About you (essential requirements)To succeed in the role, you will have the below key attributes:Tertiary qualification in relevant field and/or sound experience of delivering community focused outcomes for customers of diverse backgrounds and vulnerability.A current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness and ability to travel regularly to SGCH region sites and offices.An ability to use community development tools to develop community activities and services.Demonstrated skills in customer service, organisational and time management, prioritising and planning, communication and digital literacy, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective community services.Ability to work with a business acumen and a social heart with self-motivation, compassion and resilience to manage competing priorities, deadlines and multiple stakeholders, to continuously improve, and deliver the best outcomes for the business and customers.Applications for this role will be reviewed as received; therefore, we encourage you to submit your interest at your earliest.Please note we may establish a Talent Pool from this process.This position involves relevant pre-employment checks.
