In this role you will be responsible for electrical maintenance across a defence base including repairs, planned and reactive maintenance campaigns as well as high voltage switching programs.This position is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday, 06:00am 02:30pm (with paid overtime opportunities and some flexibility), 1x RDO (Rostered Day Off) per month. A company car (Tool of Trade vehicle) will also be provided for travel to and from the base each day.The payrate for this position is $47.23 per hour plus allowances.To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.Company car provided for work related travel requirementsVentia offers you a flexible, supportive and inclusive work environment where you matterThis role comes with the added security of being offered as a permanent positionKey duties, but not limited to:Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs & planned worksComplete work orders and verify tasks in accordance with requirementsReport & qualify detected equipment faults to supervisorsFault finding activities & reactive maintenanceDevelop & carry out HV switching programmesSmall Installations, airfield lighting, lamp changes & strip outsServicing a range of essential electrical assets including pumps, water infrastructure & generatorsSkills & Experience:WA Drivers LicenceWA Electrical LicenceHepatitis A & B vaccinationsExperienced in low voltage, fault-finding and general maintenanceHigh Voltage Switching Operations qualification Highly regardedPrevious exposure to high voltage installations Highly regardedThe CompanyVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
