TDG Environmental offers a safe, empowering, and inclusive work environment that is as diverse as the communities in which we operate.About The RoleWe are currently seeking a Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) Certified Locator to join our rapidly growing team. Based at Lonsdale, SA, you will be responsible for site-based projects where you will support the operations with locating a range of underground utility services whilst complying with the Companys OH&S policies and guidelines.Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, your key responsibilities will include:Read and understand utility maps, DBYD plans and aerial imagery to assist in identification of underground assetsRequest and complete any Permit requests in relation to Utilities/Assets on job sites as per client requirements.Create and submit utility reports on completion of each jobEnsure clients are provided with appropriate referrals to the services that meet their needsAssist in the training of employees in the use of the Asset locator, and identifying of assets where requiredResponsible for the scheduled maintenance and repair of all locating devicesThis is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading sustainable and waste management and recycling company with operations across Australia and New Zealand.About YouTo be successful for this role, you will have:DBYD accreditation and ability to accurately interpret DBYD plansExperience in underground asset location, with the ability to determine location, orientation and depthSound understanding of appropriate Australian standards and legislationKnowledge in using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) & Radio Detection Locating EquipmentExperience in the Civil Construction industry is an added advantageConduct fieldwork in challenging environmentsAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and national Police clearanceWhat We OfferTDG Environmental values its employees and understands the importance of employee offerings.
