Join the Otis family, where collaboration, innovation, and empowerment help each individual and the company reach new heights.About youWe are looking for Service Technicians based in Sydney, NSW.In this role, you will work closely with other Installers, Electricians, Adjusters, Trade Assistants, Field Engineers, and Construction Coordinators.BenefitsCompetitive package per the EBAPermanent roleJoin a company focused on safety, quality, and ethicsExcellent learning opportunities and career growthKey Responsibilities for YouPerform Service and Maintenance work according to relevant procedures, manuals, and standards.Identify process improvement opportunities and facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy customers.Provide electrical and mechanical training to apprentices and subcontractors.Attend lift and escalator breakdowns, perform repairs, and control modifications, including Re-roping, Hoisting, and Rigging.Perform upgrades and repairs adhering to all relevant codes, including SAA Lift Code AS1735, and in line with the applicable Award or Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.Liaise with customers and submit leads via Otis-provided applications.Provide standby and after-call-back coverage.Key working relationships - Internal and ExternalCollaborate with Field Engineers, Service Mechanics, and Branch and Operations Managers.Coordinate with other Otis entities and headquarters management.Represent the company''s relationships with major customers, suppliers, and the public.Work with Sales Team: Account Representatives, Managers, and Coordinators.Engage with external stakeholders including customers, building owners, managers, agencies, unions, consultants, and suppliers.What You Will Need To Be SuccessfulElectrical and/or Fitter qualifications relevant to the role, plus lift apprenticeship or industry training (desirable).2 to 5 years experience in the Lift Industry.Extensive electrical and mechanical knowledge of large equipment and ability to transfer knowledge.Ability to work at heights and hold a valid driver''s license.Fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Strong English communication skills, verbal and written.Intermediate proficiency with technology, including mobile apps, Word, Excel, Email, Internet.Highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Attention to detail and results-driven mindset.Join us today and help us build what''s next.If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or help keep you moving every day.Otis is the worlds leading elevator and escalator manufacturer, installation, and service provider.
