Our workshop is at Northgate (Brisbane), and we service site across Gold Coast, Brisbane and Moreton Bay Regions.This is a permanent full-time role with expected overtime and the inclusion of occasional weekend work. This role also includes a fully equipped company maintenance Ute, a fuel card, a toll tag and a company mobile.We are looking for someone who is passionate about safety, results focused and has a strong work ethic.About the Role:Base rate is L1 - $30.96/L2 - $38.16 (level depending on experience) plus penalties.MIG, TIG and Stick welding doing fixed plant maintenance and repairsProvide engineering solutions to fixed and mobile plantsMetal work: fabrication, cutting, grinding, drilling, etc.On-site work and workshop work.Conduct risk assessments (including rescue & lift plans)Conduct routine inspectionsEnter and work in confined spaces and work at heightsBackground and Experience required:Boilermaker/Welder experience concrete/quarry/mining industries preferredKnowledge and understanding of safety systems, work methods and risk assessments.Hold tickets: Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, and ForkliftOther tickets will be highly regarded: Current First Aid Certificate.
