Here you will play a key role in responding to corrective maintenance requirements where you''ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.What Youll DoThis role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:Performing a variety of physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and using hand or power toolsSupport the wider contract delivery through escorting duties, assisting other services lines, and contributing to a safe, clean and well- maintained work environment.Identity and report environmental hazards, incidents or behaviours that may negatively impact the environment.What Youll BringAbility and willingness to support tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) also ability to work alone carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance on ADF facilities and equipment.Able to communicate effectively, work autonomously and willing to offer support and assistance to other trades and apprenticesAbility to work some overtime/weekend work as required and be on call for emergenciesMore than anything, youll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our client.Why Downer?At Downer, we plan, create, and sustain essential public services across Australia and New Zealand.
