An opportunity has become available for an Electrician to join our Pelletising Plant. In this role you will work as part of a team to achieve targeted levels of plant availability through planned preventative and corrective maintenance. Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Lead working on a 4:3:3:4 roster and averaging a 42 hour week.Key responsibilities will be:Execute approved maintenance strategies and scheduling of the worksIdentify opportunities for improved asset performance and recommend appropriate changes to support plant performanceProvide technical support for all electrical issues and standardise the plant, equipment, services and systems where practicalWorking in a professional, timely and safe manner following all SIMEC Mining''s standards and proceduresAbout your experienceYou are a reliable and safety-focused Electrical tradesperson who is an effective communicator, demonstrating success working independently as well as within a team environment.You will have:A Class electrical licence - EssentialUnderstanding of safety procedures used when maintaining fixed plantExperience in fixed plant maintenance within mining is preferableUnderstanding of maintenance principles and plant improvement processesStrong technical and electrical aptitudeNext stepsAcross our different business units, we offer career opportunities for people who share our drive, passion and ambition.
