We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest packaging companies in Australia, as our Thomastown site is looking for an experienced electrician to come onboard and join the team on the afternoon shift (from 3pm until 11pm)!The key focus of this role will be to:Maintaining equipment condition and reliability so that company safety, production and quality targets can be achievedProvide technical support to the Maintenance and Production teamsPerform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime, incl. contribution to routine planned shutdownsEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and codesAssist with breakdowns and conducting troubleshooting analysis as requiredExcellent PLC knowledge and understanding to enable troubleshooting of equipment.Thorough knowledge and experience with powered drives, automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) and roboticsReading and understanding of Electrical schematics and drawingsExperience working with Converting-type production lines in a FMCG environment (highly regarded)Solid knowledge and experience with industrial instrumentation and control systemsWe can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves.
