Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$240,000.00/yr - A$250,000.00/yrPosition DetailsFull Time Contract | 4 yearsTRP from $240,783pa (base from $212,307)5 weeks annual leaveLocation: StrathpineJoin City of Moreton Bay in this key leadership role, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow!Reporting directly to our General Manager, Community and Environmental Services, youll lead a dedicated team of 140+ professionals, driving initiatives across:Sport and Recreation building capacity and resilience of community organisations, managing programs like Healthy and Active Moreton and Active Holidays.Community Planning & Development leading community development and inclusion portfolios, including Indigenous, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse peoples, youth, and homelessness; social policy; grants and sponsorships.Community Facilities Operations managing 46 community halls and over 500 land agreements.Community Facilities Planning planning for future community facilities, advising on disability access, inclusion, and cultural heritage assets.Recreation Venues managing 14 aquatic facilities and venues like the Queensland State Equestrian Centre, Morayfield Sports and Events Centre, and Redcliffe Entertainment Centre.This role is pivotal in delivering initiatives aligned with Councils strategies, including the Community Wellbeing Strategy 2042, Reconciliation Action Plan, and Housing and Homelessness Action Plan.As a leader in reconciliation, you will oversee the implementation of the 70 RAP actions, collaborating across the organization to embed reconciliation practices and foster inclusivity.Click here to view the position description.About youWe seek an experienced, forward-thinking leader passionate about governance, safety, leadership, and community services.
