Councils Works and Services teams are energetic and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to our Community, Customers, Councillors, and Council.We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person interested in undertaking a 12-month traineeship in Business Administration.The role will support the Works and Services teams with administration duties required in the business stream. You will develop skills in administration and customer service at the Services Depot in Oak Flats.This opportunity is open to both school leavers and mature age applicants who are eligible for admission to the Certificate III in Business Administration and do not already hold a Certificate III qualification or higher.The traineeship is anticipated to start in July 2025 and covers both practical and theoretical requirements supported by Council and TAFE.Council''s Cadet, Apprentice, and Trainee (CAT) Program aims to grow Council''s skilled workforce by creating job opportunities and a talent pipeline for specialized roles, and to develop future leaders through employment and professional development experiences that support external tertiary study.
