Youll embed best-practice processes, drive a proactive safety culture and partner with engineers, planners and contractors to ensure every Flow Power project is delivered without incident.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide practical WHS advice to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations and industry best practiceConduct risk assessments, site inspections and safety audits on energy construction projects of 5 50 MW solar farms and associated infrastructureReview and oversee contractor Safe Work Method Statements, permits and construction-method safety plansDeliver engaging safety inductions and training for employees, contractors and project partnersEnsure onsite safety through hands-on safety leadership during active energy project constructionAn opportunity to take lead on our ISO45001 journeyAbout YouAs a confident mid-level professional, you have the capability to work within an existing safety framework, review and provide continuous improvement, and ensure on-site safety through coordination and management of contractors safety behaviour.In alignment with our company values, you have a high interest in the renewable energy sector and recognise this as a longer-term career opportunity.Skills and ExperienceTertiary-level qualification in OHS/WHS or related discipline, with a strong understanding of WHS legislation, regulation and compliance requirements3+ years experience in a WHS role (ideally within the energy, construction or engineering sectors) either as a WHS Manager or a WHS Advisor who can demonstrate working confidently and independentlyWillingness to travel and ensure onsite safety via regular site visitation (must have drivers license)Experience working with Safety Management SystemsExcellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with third-party suppliersHighly organised and strong self-management capabilityHigh familiarity with safety procedures and documentationWhat we offerAn exciting time to join Flow Power as we see rapid growth and success in our retail business, this role will work to support the delivery of much needed renewable energy assets that enable the renewable energy transition.
