We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join us as a Business Development team member in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian insurance market and be able to identify new business opportunities to help expand Coalition''s brand and market presence in the region, contributing to a high-performing team and bringing new, innovative ideas to help our brokers expand their cyber books of business and achieve their goals.This is a hybrid position based in Sydney. Coalitions office is in Sydneys CBD in Australia Square.ResponsibilitiesSystematically grow Coalitions client base and create new approaches to deal successfully with changes and challenges in market dynamics and client relationshipsLead new sales efforts and continuously engage with new clientsMaintain a deep understanding of Coalitions solutions (insurance and technology) and speak with brokers about the most relevant features/functionality for their specific business needsLead engagement with brokers, partners, clients and all other appropriate members of the ecosystemManage all sales activities for Coalitions broker partners through prospecting, strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning, and executionOwn the ultimate responsibility for brokers satisfaction with CoalitionDevelop new brokerage relationships from inbound leads and strategic outreachIdentify target brokerages for new outbound campaignsMeet target quota of qualified opportunities, the value of sales pipeline, and closed businessReport, track, and manage sales activities and resultsIdentify and resolve roadblocks to brokers achieving their stated business goalsBe an active participant in the industry.
