We are hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team at our Delivery Station in Mulgrave.In this role, you will lead a technical team in carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance activities, repairing and maintaining the machinery that keeps Amazon running!Learn more about Amazon RME in AustraliaKey job responsibilitiesSupervise and lead Maintenance Technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals.Deliver and maintain Preventive Maintenance programs, building compliance programs, including facility and contractor management.Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working across the site.Manage maintenance-related purchase orders to maximize smooth facility operation and control of critical spare and store inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for maintenance.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all systems including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, conveyance, and other operational equipment.Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization, including attending site leadership meetings and steering committees.QualificationsFormal trade qualification: Cert III in Electrotechnology with an unrestricted trade license OR Cert III Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent trade qualifications recognized in Australia.Leadership experience supervising multi-trade teams in fast-paced industrial manufacturing/distribution environments.Experience mentoring and developing technicians.Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).Experience in contractor management.Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements and facility management.Preferred qualifications are not required to apply, but having them is advantageous, including experience with automated conveyor systems, electrical and electronic principles, PLC programming, and schematic reading.Additional InformationAmazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and pays respect to their elders past and present.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
