You will collaborate with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver high-quality IT services that support business continuity.Do something that moves youInnovate Through Coding and Scripting: Develop your skills in essential scripting tools to automate infrastructure management and operations tasks.Master Infrastructure Fundamentals : Configure, administer, and support a variety of infrastructure technologies, including cloud computing solutions like IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.Champion Information Security: Identify potential security risks and implement controls to protect our infrastructure and services.Drive Problem Management : Investigate and resolve issues in systems and processes, contributing to effective remedies and preventative measures.Collaborate for Success: Work closely with stakeholders to establish solutions that meet business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.Does this sound like you?Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in infrastructure engineering or a related roleExperience with network administration, server management, and virtualization technologiesExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud infrastructureProficiency in network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)Strong understanding of server and storage systemsExperience with virtualization technologiesFamiliarity with scripting and automationStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issuesAbility to analyse system performance and identify optimization opportunitiesCapacity to understand and mitigate security risksAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentBe you @ BayerWe are committed to creating a culture where people can be their best, in an environment that values inclusion, diversity and flexibility.
