Business Development Manager genU TrainingNot-for-Profit: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year plus further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2,649 per annumLocation: Flexible (Victoria-based preferred) - Full time ongoing positionAbout the RolegenU Training is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to grow and strengthen our impact across Australias training and employment sectors.This role focuses on building strategic partnerships and identifying opportunities to grow the reach and purpose-driven outcomes of our training portfolio, including programs tailored to Disability Employment Services (DES), NDIS participants, specialist schools, and community service organisations.Key responsibilities include:Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships across a range of sectors and regionsImplementing business development strategies at a state and national levelIdentifying gaps in the market and contributing to product developmentManaging a healthy revenue pipeline and maintaining accurate records in SalesforceSupporting proposal writing, business case development, and contract submissionsActing as a key representative of genU Training in meetings and eventsTravel is a core part of this role, with regular local and interstate travel required to build connections and represent genU Training effectively.About YouYou bring strong experience in business development within the Employment Services or NDIS sectors, and you understand the importance of inclusive training pathways that meet real community needs.Youre outcome-focused, organised, and thrive on building meaningful, professional relationships. Youre equally confident working independently or as part of a collaborative team, and you bring curiosity, initiative, and professionalism to every interaction.What Youll NeedEssential:Minimum 3 years experience in the Employment Services or related sectorStrong understanding of NDIS frameworks and community engagementFamiliarity with accredited training and units of competencyProven organisational, problem-solving, and communication skillsComfortable with local and interstate travelConfident using digital systems and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)A current valid drivers licence and willingness to travel.A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.Desirable:Experience within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)Background in allied health or community services engagementWhy Work With Us?At genU, we offer more than just a job we offer a chance to be part of a diverse and inclusive team where your skills and ideas are valued.
